Sensitive Information. 

We process certain categories of sensitive information when necessary to facilitate secure auctions and comply with financial regulations. This includes:

  • Financial Data: We collect payment instrument numbers and security codes required for transactions. This data is processed and stored by our secure partner, Square, and is never stored on BidSells’ internal servers. You can review their security standards in the Square Privacy Notice.

  • Precise Geolocation: We may collect precise location data to verify bidder authenticity and prevent fraudulent activity. You can manage or disable location permissions through your device settings at any time.

 
Payment Data. We may collect data necessary to process your payment if you make purchases, such as your payment instrument number, and the security code associated with your payment instrument. In Short: Some information — such as your Internet Protocol (IP) address and/or browser and device characteristics — is collected automatically when you visit our Services.

9. CONTROLS FOR DO-NOT-TRACK FEATURES
 
Most web browsers and some mobile operating systems and mobile applications include a Do-Not-Track ("DNT") feature or setting you can activate to signal your privacy preference not to have data about your online browsing activities monitored and collected. At this stage no uniform technology standard for recognizing and implementing DNT signals has been finalized. As such, we do not currently respond to DNT browser signals or any other mechanism that automatically communicates your choice not to be tracked online. If a standard for online tracking is adopted that we must follow in the future, we will inform you about that practice in a revised version of this privacy notice.

Regardless of your geographical location, BidSells provides all users with expanded rights over their personal data in accordance with modern privacy standards (including CCPA/CPRA, VCDPA, and others). You have the following rights:
